Our main inspector, Gaetan Bernier, has extensive formal training and experience in the home inspection field. He is Registered Home Inspector, insured and bilingual.
Education: He is a "Registered Home Inspector" member of CAHPI® ON (Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors). Gaetan has passed their admission exams which are amongst the most stringent of all home inspection associations. He completed the Defect Recognition & Reporting course as well as university/college courses including Ontario Building Codes Health and Safety and Building Envelope for building inspector officials. Building Science for builders which promotes the latest in building construction technology, the home as a system. He is also a "Certified ecoENERGY Advisor" performing home energy evaluations, air infiltration testing and thermal infrared camera inspections. He has a well diversified knowledge in the home inspections and ecoENERGY evaluations, that can also provide "Thermal infrared camera inspections" thus assuring home buyers optimum quality service from such members.
He continues to participate in educational seminars recommended by the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors to maintain an optimum level of expertise and qualifications.
